Christopher Cortese

Christopher Cortese is a seasoned real estate professional with extensive experience in commercial real estate, investment, and development. As Co-Founder and Managing Principal at PlaceMKR LLC since June 2018, Christopher focuses on Path of Progress and Opportunity Zone Development & Investment. Additionally, Christopher has served as Managing Director at Newmark since February 2012, specializing in tenant and landlord representation, as well as investment sales. Prior roles include Vice President at NAI Elite, LLC, where Christopher managed sales of investment and development properties, and Leasing and Sales Associate at Pyramid Real Estate Group, concentrating on the Fairfield County, Connecticut market. Christopher began the career as a Realtor at Marr & Caruso Realty Group and holds a degree from Arizona State University.
