Ron S.

Ron S. is a seasoned software professional with extensive experience in back-end development and software engineering. Currently serving as a Back End Developer at Placer.ai since October 2024, Ron previously held roles at Mend.io, where development of AI BOM products and contributions to an open-source supply chain defense system were key responsibilities. Prior to that, Ron led a software development team focused on static code analysis tools. Ron's academic background includes a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Tel Aviv University, where research in programming languages and model checking was conducted, with findings published at the CAV2019 conference. Ron's experience also encompasses roles as a Software Engineer and Architect for the Israeli Air Force, where significant contributions were made to a mission-critical intelligence system, and as a Research & Teaching Assistant at Tel Aviv University.
