Matt Smith

Matt Smith has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting roles. Matt is currently serving as the Finance Director at PLACE UK Ltd since May 2023. Before that, they held the same role at Easy Cleaning Solutions Ltd from July 2021 to April 2023. Matt also worked as the Group Financial Controller at Archant from April 2020 to July 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Finance Integration Partner at Kettle Foods UK from October 2019 to April 2020 and as the Divisional Finance Director at Bernard Matthews from July 2019 to October 2019. Matt also worked at Kettle Foods UK as the Head of Commercial Finance from November 2016 to July 2019. Earlier in their career, they held the position of Financial Controller at Probe Oil Tools from March 2014 to November 2016. Matt worked at HJ Heinz as the Finance Manager - Potatoes from July 2011 to March 2014 and as a Management Accountant from July 2006 to June 2011. Matt started their career as a Trainee Accountant at Meager Wood Locke & Company from August 1996 to August 2001.

Matt Smith attended Bishop Vesey Grammar School from 1991 to 1996. After completing high school, they then pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Accounting and Finance from Sutton Coldfield College, graduating in 2006.
