Christopher Hazel

Christopher Hazel is a Planner and GIS Analyst at PlaceWorks since April 2023, specializing in GIS data analysis and housing planning. Previously, Christopher served as a Graduate Student Assistant at San Jose State University's Institute for Metropolitan Studies, supporting regional planning initiatives and website redevelopment. A former Planning Intern at the City of Orinda, responsibilities included creating ArcGIS maps and evaluating planning documents. Christopher's experience also includes roles as a Housing Inspector in Bloomington, IL, and leadership positions within community organizations such as CU Jaycees. Christopher holds a Master of Science in Urban Planning from San Jose State University and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
