David's early career includes roles as a substitute teacher at Fullerton School District and as an intern at Southern California Association of Governments, Bureau Veritas, and County of Riverside, where key projects involved land use tracking and NEPA documentation for environmental compliance. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from the University of California, Riverside.
