David Christie

David Christie, AICP, is an accomplished urban planner with extensive experience in various planning roles. Currently an Associate at PlaceWorks since November 2023, David's previous positions include Planning Associate II and Planning Associate I at Michael Baker International from February 2020 to October 2023, and Urban Planner and Environmental Planner at Stantec from June 2017 to January 2020. David's early career includes roles as a substitute teacher at Fullerton School District and as an intern at Southern California Association of Governments, Bureau Veritas, and County of Riverside, where key projects involved land use tracking and NEPA documentation for environmental compliance. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from the University of California, Riverside.
