Floyd Gonzalez

Floyd Gonzalez, CPA, has extensive accounting experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Assistant Accounting Manager and previously as Senior Corporate Accountant at Placid Refining Company LLC since June 2011, Floyd has a solid background in corporate accounting. Prior to this, Floyd worked at Albemarle from 1996 to 2010, primarily focusing on fixed-asset reporting and capital projects, where the company’s total assets grew significantly. Floyd's experience also includes roles in financial and political consulting, financial institution supervision during tenure with Mortgage Recruiting Consultants and the Resolution Trust Corporation, and foundational accounting roles. Floyd holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Louisiana State University.
