Tim Ingmire

Tim Ingmire has over 30 years of work experience in the field of research and development, innovation, and technology. Tim is currently the VP of Global Innovation and New Technology at pladis Global, a role they started in September 2023. Before this, Tim founded their own consulting company called fermentive consulting in July 2023.

Prior to starting their own venture, Tim held various leadership positions at companies such as Nutrition Technologies, Marlow Foods Limited, PepsiCo, Glanbia plc, Unilever, Unilever HPC, Sara Lee, and SmithKline Beecham. Their roles at these companies included Chief Research and Development Officer, Global R&D Senior Director, Head of Europe Technical Centre, Foods Innovation R&D Director, R&D Region Head, Technology Innovation Manager, Group Innovation Manager, SAP Project Planning Manager, Technical Brand Manager, and Scientist.

Throughout their career, Tim has been responsible for driving breakthrough innovation, developing new products, leading research and development projects, managing teams, and implementing strategies. Tim has a strong focus on sustainability, nutrition, and technology-driven solutions. Tim has also demonstrated expertise in building and managing partnerships, driving business growth, and ensuring high-quality and safe products.

Tim Ingmire is an Honorary Professor at FIFST and holds a BSc in Applied Biological Science (Biomedical Sciences) from the University of the West of England. Tim has also obtained additional certifications, including Honorary Professorships from the University of Nottingham and the University of Birmingham, as well as a Fellowship from the Institute of Food Science and Technology. Tim has completed an Executive Education Program in Leading and Managing Globally with the Yale School of Management, IMD Business School, and ExecOnline, Inc.
