Brian Anderson

Brian Anderson is currently the Industry Associations Lead at Plaid. They previously held positions as the Head of U.S. Public Policy at FIS and Senior Vice President of Technology Regulation at the Bank Policy Institute, where they provided legal and policy guidance on technology regulations impacting the banking sector. Additionally, Brian served as Senior Director of Financial Services at the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum, facilitating financial market access between the U.S. and India. Earlier in their career, they were Counsel for the House Financial Services Committee, focusing on financial regulations and consumer protections, and Director of Congressional Advocacy at the ICBA, shaping community banking policy. Brian is pursuing a JD at American University Washington College of Law, alongside a Master of Arts in Public Policy from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from North Carolina State University.
