Christy Sunquist is an experienced professional in partnership development and program management, currently serving as the Head of Open Finance Partnerships at Plaid since August 2021, where responsibilities include leading U.S. Financial Institution Partnerships and focusing on Financial Access initiatives. Prior experience includes a role as Director of Digital Payments Partnerships at American Express, where responsibilities encompassed global partnerships with major payment platforms and the development of go-to-market strategies for digital payment initiatives. Additionally, Christy has experience in NGOs, having served as Director of Global Programs at charity: water, overseeing international programs and managing significant partnerships and grants.
