John Mason

John Mason is an experienced professional currently serving as the Commercial Lead (GTM) at Plaid since August 2021 and as a member of the Board of Directors at Boston By Foot since December 2023. Previously, John held the role of Vice President at Goldman Sachs from August 2017 to August 2021, where responsibilities included managing a team focused on debt investment and structuring various transactions. John also contributed to Goldman Sachs' internal start-up incubator, GS Accelerate, by developing a retail real estate derivative product. Other notable experiences include an associate role at Gennari Aronson, participation in a summer rotational program at Goldman Sachs, and legal positions in corporate law at Core Security and the Office of the General Counsel at Northeastern University. John holds a Juris Doctorate from Boston College Law School and an undergraduate degree from Villanova University.
