Kevin Troxell

Kevin Troxell is an experienced data scientist currently working at Plaid since June 2024. Previously, Kevin served as Lead Data Scientist at Bond Financial Technologies, Inc. from November 2019 to April 2024, focusing on building data products to enhance financial innovation and access to capital. Earlier roles include Manager of Data Science and Data Analyst at SoFi from July 2016 to October 2019, where responsibilities included leading a team for price optimization and conducting revenue analysis using SQL and Tableau. Kevin began the professional journey as a Policy Intern with the Office of Assemblyman Rich Gordon, analyzing the impacts of California's realignment initiative, and as an Instructor for The Oceanseed Project at Santa Cruz County Juvenile Hall, developing educational curricula. Kevin holds a Master of Science (M.S.) in Applied Economics and Finance from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
