Martijn Bos

Martijn Bos is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and public-private partnerships within the financial technology sector. Currently serving as Director and board member of Plaid BV since April 2021, Martijn oversees inter-company agreements and compliance while managing relationships with key regulatory entities such as the Dutch Central Bank and the European Commission. Previous roles include leading corporate governance efforts for the EU and UK as International Policy and Corporate Counsel, contributing technical expertise to the UN Taskforce on Digital Finance as an independent consultant, and heading partnerships and content at Holland FinTech where regulatory publications and consultative programs were developed. Martijn's career also includes significant contributions to international organizations, such as the Alliance for Financial Inclusion, and early career experiences in education and consulting. Martijn holds a Master of Laws and a Bachelor of Laws from Maastricht University, along with a diverse international educational background.
