Moira Vahey

Moira Vahey is the Head of Advocacy and Public Affairs at Plaid, where they lead initiatives to shape public policy and engage stakeholders. Previously, they served in several prominent roles, including Communications Director and Senior Advisor at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, and Senior Spokesperson at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Moira has extensive experience in communications and policy, having worked with organizations such as the United States Digital Service and the U.S. Department of Defense. They began their career in media coordination at Free Press and have held various positions to advocate for innovation and public interest across government and nonprofit sectors. Moira is currently pursuing studies at DePauw University.
