Nathan Marwell

Nathan Marwell is a seasoned professional in data science with extensive experience in leading teams and developing models to enhance payment security and pricing algorithms. Currently serving as a Tech Lead Manager in Data Science at Plaid since April 2020, Nathan oversees the Data Science team focused on the Payment Risk vertical, significantly contributing to products like Signal. Previously, Nathan held positions at Uber as a Senior Data Scientist, specializing in pricing algorithms and demand modeling, and at the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a Research Assistant under Professor Ken Hendricks. Nathan's early career includes experience as an Associate Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. Nathan holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BA in Economics from Columbia University.
