Nihal Ruparel

Nihal Ruparel is a skilled sales engineer currently at Plaid since October 2025, having previously held similar roles at Persona and a stealth startup, where Nihal also served as founder. Prior to this, Nihal was self-employed as a home care provider and worked at Instrumental Inc. as a solutions architect. Experience also includes a tenure as a senior product development engineer at RefleXion Medical, focusing on the PET Guided Radiation Therapy Machine, and mechanical engineering roles at ViewRay, Inc. and Johnson & Johnson | Vision, contributing to the MRIDian® Linac and Robotic Operating Table, respectively. Nihal began a career at Sanmina as a junior mechanical engineer and gained research experience as an assistant at Baylor University. Nihal holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Baylor University.
