Ryan Smith

Ryan Smith has extensive experience in design, with a strong focus on design systems and brand identity development. Currently, Ryan is employed at Plaid in Design Systems since August 2017. Prior to this role, Ryan worked as a Designer at Blend Labs from October 2015 to August 2017, contributing significantly to the creation of brand styles and various communication materials. Between June 2012 and September 2015, Ryan was a Designer at Addepar, where efforts were concentrated on enhancing the brand identity through various design elements. Earlier experience includes working as a teaching assistant in Letterpress & Bookbinding at Ohio University School of Art from September 2011 to July 2012. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Ohio University, obtained in 2012.
