Shaffer Bond

Shaffer Bond is an experienced product manager currently working at Plaid since September 2020, specializing in payments, with previous roles as an Enterprise Technical Account Manager and in Implementation. Prior to Plaid, Shaffer held the position of Salesforce Functional Consultant at Deloitte Digital, focusing on designing and implementing Salesforce solutions and custom web portal development to enhance business value. Shaffer served in the US Navy from May 2015 to September 2018 as a Weapons Officer and Assistant Operations Officer, where responsibilities included leading training and overseeing equipment for significant weapons systems. Shaffer's military experience also includes serving as a Gunnery Officer on the USS ROSS (DDG 71). Earlier career experiences include roles as a Midshipman in the US Navy Reserve, a Development Intern at Klink Technologies, and a Sales Associate at J.Crew. Shaffer holds a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering from The George Washington University, completed in 2015.
