John McCarthy

John McCarthy is an experienced professional with a diverse background in project management and leadership across multiple sectors, including IT, humanitarian efforts, and the film industry. Currently serving as a Delivery Lead at Plain Concepts since March 2020, McCarthy previously held roles as Product Manager and Project Manager at Relief Applications and the British Red Cross, respectively. Additional project management experience includes consultancy work in the financial legal industry at Derivatives Risk Solutions LLP and producing a self-funded film on the refugee crisis with Odelay Films Ltd. McCarthy holds a Master of Science in Geophysical Hazards from University College London and a Bachelor of Science in Geography and Geology from The University of Manchester.
