Phil James

Phil James is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in application and enterprise architecture. Currently serving as an Application Architect at Ascensus since July 2022, Phil provides daily architecture support for multiple scrum teams, focusing on design, technical research, code reviews, and mentoring. With a tenure at PAI since May 2009 as an Enterprise Architect, Phil has collaborated with executive leadership to align technical strategies and develop a robust enterprise platform. Previous roles include Senior Software Engineer at Skyline Technologies, where Phil acted as a technical architect consultant, and Programmer Analyst positions at American Medical Security and Inspire Insurance Solutions, Inc., where foundational skills in COBOL and Java were established. Phil holds an Associate's degree in Computer Science from Lakeshore College and is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Lakeland College.
