Hatim Badien

Hatim Badien is a humanitarian, development, and peacebuilding leader with over 15 years of experience in conflict resolution, governance, and post-conflict recovery. Having held key roles at organizations such as UNDP, USAID, IOM, and the United States Institute of Peace, Hatim consistently prioritizes inclusive governance and resilience in challenging contexts. Currently serving as a Senior Manager of Philanthropy at Plan International Canada, Hatim focuses on cultivating donor relationships to enhance support for impactful initiatives. Hatim holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Mumbai and an MBA in Project Management from the University of Medical Sciences and Technology in Khartoum.
