Javier Michel

Javier Michel is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in compliance management, budgeting, and project development within international development contexts. Currently serving as the Senior Compliance Manager for Business Development and Budgeting at Plan International Canada since October 2017, Javier has played a crucial role in the formulation of multi-year grant proposals, emphasizing strategic budget development and compliance with donor requirements. Prior to this, Javier held various positions at Cuso International, including Project Coordinator for T-LED and SCOPE Projects, where efficient project implementation and donor compliance were prioritized. Additionally, Javier has experience as an Independent Consultant providing economic and political analysis, and has collaborated with several organizations in roles related to fundraising, market research, and strategic planning. Javier holds an M.A. in Project Preparation, Social Evaluation and Management, as well as a BBA in Business Administration.
