Jeri Brown

Jeri B. is an experienced public relations and communications professional currently serving as the Senior Manager of Public Relations & Communications at Plan International Canada since September 2023, focusing on advancing children’s rights and gender equality. Prior to this role, Jeri held the position of Head of Communications at oxio from October 2022 to 2023, and served as Public Relations Director at Media Profile for 15 years, where responsibilities included managing public relations, media relations, and strategic communications for various sectors. Jeri has also been actively involved in several non-profit organizations, including roles on the Gala Steering Committee for Canadian Journalists for Free Expression and as a founding member of Project Sunshine Canada's Young Patrons' Circle. Jeri's educational background includes an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Film & Media Studies and a Post-graduate diploma in Public Relations from Queen's University and Humber College, respectively.
