Stu Solomon is an accomplished professional in the fields of disaster reduction, environment, and climate change, currently serving as Program Manager at the Global Network for Disaster Reduction since October 2013 and as Environment and Climate Change Advisor at Plan International Canada since September 2017. Additionally, Stu holds the position of Senior Advisor for Economic Empowerment and Resilience at Plan International Canada, a role that has been undertaken since September 2018. Prior experience includes serving as Programme Coordinator at the Parliamentary Forum on Climate Change from 2010 to July 2012 and as an Environmental Consultant - Climate Change Specialist at The World Bank from March 2012 to June 2013. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences from the University of Guelph and a Master’s degree from the University of Sussex.
