Albashir Mohammed

Albashir Mohammed has extensive experience in community development and humanitarian assistance, having served in various roles since 2010. Key positions include Extension Officer at Practical Action, where constructive relationships were maintained with communities and agencies, and Animal Health Officer focused on establishing pastoralists groups. At Danish Refugee Council, Albashir provided site management support for vulnerable populations, while in a role at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), duties included overseeing food security and nutrition initiatives. Additional experience as Community Field Officer at Welthungerhilfe involved mitigating the impacts of El Nino and organizing community training sessions. Since May 2017, Albashir worked with Muslim Aid UK and has been engaged with Plan International as both a Project Coordinator and, more recently, as Project Manager, continuing to drive community engagement and project implementation.
