Murray Fisher

Murray Fisher serves as the Managing Director at U.S. Coastal Service, Inc., focusing on the development of a zero-emissions marine freight service in New York Harbor. As a Co-Founder and Chair of the Leadership Council for the Billion Oyster Project, Murray works towards the restoration of one billion oysters in New York Harbor while educating local youth about marine ecology. Additionally, Murray is a Co-Founder and Board member of Walk Bike Bedford, advocating for sustainable transportation alternatives in Bedford, NY. In various roles, including Trustee at the HENRY L FERGUSON MUSEUM and Senior Advisor & Chief Naturalist at PLAN it WILD, Murray promotes environmental stewardship and sustainable landscaping practices. Previous experience includes serving as a Co-Founder and Director of New York Harbor School and roles at Waterkeeper Alliance, which emphasizes the protection of clean water resources. Murray holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Vanderbilt University.
