Michael Brinkmann

Michael Brinkmann has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Michael is currently the Chief Executive Officer at PLANASA, a global agri-tech leader specializing in R&D for berry breeding. Michael oversees the company's nursery operations and provides technical support to ensure the success of their varieties. Prior to their current position, Brinkmann served as the CEO of SanLucar Group, where they led a team of 2,500 employees and was responsible for a turnover of €500 million. Michael also held roles as CEO International, Managing Director of Sales Team Germany, and Chief Financial Officer during their time at SanLucar. Before joining SanLucar, Brinkmann worked at Argos GmbH as a Managing Director, where they focused on acquiring and managing medium-sized companies. Michael began their career at The Boston Consulting Group, where they served as an Associate, Consultant, and Project Leader.

Michael Brinkmann earned their MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a Diplom-Kaufmann degree in Business Administration and Management.
