William Goldstein

William Goldstein has had a varied and impressive work experience. William began their career in 2006 as a Member of the Peggotty Investment Club at Connecticut College, where they helped to invest $80,000 of college funds into a diverse portfolio. In 2008, they interned in Risk Management at Guggenheim Advisors, where they researched equities and bonds using Bloomberg for potential investment and studied specific company credit ratings and current health. In 2009, they worked as a Business Analyst at Kleinfeld Manhattan and also as an Analyst at Guggenheim Advisors, where they evaluated hedge fund marketing materials for investment purposes and presented during pitches given by managers of hedge funds. In 2010, they joined RBS Markets & International Banking as a Risk Analyst and completed the Risk Analyst Graduate Program, receiving top marks and stellar reviews from all their managers. During their time there, they rotated through different areas of risk and was responsible for communicating equity derivative risk profile changes. In 2012, they joined Guggenheim Partners as an Associate, where they monitored the market risk and exposure of Equity (Hedge Fund) Managers and assisted with managers of other strategies. In 2014, they co-founded PLANELOGIX with Rob Wilkes, where they taught himself Vue.js, Laravel (PHP framework), SQL and more to create a powerful, extensible and user-friendly application that leverages multiple APIs including Stripe and AWS.

William Goldstein obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Connecticut College between 2006 and 2010. William also attended the Institute of Economic and Political Studies in 2009. Prior to that, they attended Rye Country Day School.
