Ryan Lock

Ryan Lock has a diverse work experience primarily in the aviation industry. Ryan was the Director and Head of Product Management at Planes, where they oversaw project delivery and led the Product Management practice. Before that, they worked at the New Zealand Defence Force as a Project Engineer, managing the procurement, testing, and certification of aircraft systems. Ryan also served as an Engineering Manager at the Royal New Zealand Air Force's maritime patrol squadron, where they provided engineering authority and oversight for maintenance activities. Prior to that, they worked as a Structural Engineer, managing Aircraft Structural Integrity Programs for RNZAF fleets, and as a Systems Engineer.

Ryan Lock completed their Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Canterbury from 2007 to 2012. In 2014, they also pursued a Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering Management at Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology (NMIT).
