Allan Mayberry

Allan Mayberry has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Allan currently holds the position of Director of Engineering & Site Lead at Planet DDS, where they have been since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Global as the Head of Engineering, leading the Commercial Technology group and overseeing strategic technology decisions. Allan also played a key role in establishing and growing the Scotland Technology Hub for the company. Before this, Allan worked at Brightree as a Director of Software Engineering and Software Engineering Manager, leading teams and driving an organizational transformation. Allan has also held positions as a Software Engineer and Scrum Master at Brightree and as a Software Engineer at AMEC, DDL Group, Harding Brothers, and GTi Ltd. Overall, Allan has extensive experience in software engineering, team leadership, and organizational transformation.

Allan Mayberry attended Dunoon Grammar School from 2000 to 2005. Allan then went on to study at James Watt College from 2005 to 2007, where they obtained an HND. From 2007 to 2008, Allan attended Glasgow Caledonian University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Internet Software Development.
