Wayne Cheetham

Wayne Cheetham is a seasoned software professional with extensive experience in software management and engineering, currently serving as Capability Lead - Software at Planet Innovation since January 2022. Previously, Wayne held various roles at Invetech from November 2000 to January 2022, including Software Manager, where responsibilities included managing the software team, professional development, and overseeing new project analysis. As Software Architect, Wayne focused on developing medical instruments, specializing in software architecture, scheduler and instrument control code, touch-screen user-interface development, and leading teams on FDA-classed instruments. Prior experience includes working as Software Engineer/Team Leader at RLM Systems, with expertise in Ada95 development. Wayne holds a PhD in Engineering & Operations Research and a Master's degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering, both from RMIT University.
