Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Space Systems at Planet since June 2011, James has played a pivotal role in managing the largest remote sensing constellation in history while fostering innovative mission concepts and leading teams. Previous positions include Vice President of Missions, where oversight of over 130 satellites and multiple ground station sites was entrusted, and Director at the African Space Institute, where James worked to enhance the South African space sector.
