Michelle Sisson

Michelle Sisson serves as the Senior Industry Marketing Manager for the Americas at Planet, leveraging expertise in marketing, sales, and product development to enhance the Civil Government sector's engagement with Planet's satellite data. Previously, Michelle held roles at Apeel Sciences, starting as the first Marketing Manager and advancing to Senior Product Marketing Manager, where responsibilities included supporting product launches and crafting compelling messaging for diverse audiences. Earlier experience includes managing community and planet programs at Clif Bar & Company, leading field sales teams at JUST, and serving as a Trip Leader for Backroads. Educationally, Michelle earned a Master of Science in Agriculture, Food and Environment from Tufts University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from UC San Diego, complemented by studies at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna.
