Ryan Clevenger

Ryan Clevenger is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and platform development. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Engineering for Customer Platform at Planet since June 2016, Ryan Clevenger has spearheaded teams focused on creating seamless APIs, services, and user interfaces for earth observation data. Previously, Ryan Clevenger held the positions of Director of Engineering and Senior Engineering Manager at Planet, contributing to the development of compute and storage services and managing shared infrastructure. Prior to Planet, Ryan Clevenger worked at Rackspace, where leadership in software development focused on building the Cloud Networking SDN stack. Additional roles include technology management at North Point Ministries and a technical support supervisor position at Earthlink, complemented by educational achievements in Computer Information Systems and Business Administration from Georgia State University.
