Planetery Resilience Institute (PRI) is an international, non-profit NGO based in Germany that aims to enhance planetary resilience across generations and species through research, advisory, and advocacy.

We function as a research institute, think tank, advocacy centre, and advisory service provider to enhance planetary resilience. We work on the intersection of social equity and justice, ecosystem management, climate action, systemic risk and resilience, and disaster risk management.
We strive to be a catalyst for systemic change, fostering planetary resilience to environmental risks while preserving and restoring life-supporting planetary systems. We operate with the language and ontology of complex systems. Our goal is to ensure the well-being of all life forms across generations through collaboration, research, capacity building, and advocacy programs. We believe in the primary concept of “One Planet, One Life, and Shared Resilience”.

We pursue non-profit activities, including independent research, partnerships, advocacy, training, and capacity building, as well as revenue-generating services such as Resilience and Adaptation Monitoring, Evaluation, Reporting, Certification, Accountability, and Learning (RA-MERCAL), consultancy, and other advisory services for intergovernmental organizations, government offices, civil societies, and other NGOs.
