Richard Bazán

Regional Manager for the Americas

Richard Bazán is a specialist and researcher in Community-based Rural Tourism and Tourism Marketing. They hold a master's degree in Public Management from the National University of San Marcos and have completed postgraduate studies in Marketing and Communication of Tourist Destinations in Spain. With a degree in Tourism Administration, Richard graduated with honors and has notable certifications in English and rural development. They have extensive experience in designing strategies for community-based tourism, teaching at universities, and coordinating projects for various organizations, including the United Nations Development Programme. Currently, Richard is a co-founder of the Peruvian Foundation for Social Tourism and serves as the Regional Manager for Planeterra in the Americas.
