Dennis Kelly

Dennis Kelly has worked in a variety of roles in the technology industry since 2005. From 2005 to 2006, they were a Systems Administrator for New Stevens LLC. From 2006 to 2008, they were a Senior Systems Engineer for Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. From 2008 to 2013, they were an IT Manager and RTP Administrator for Stevens Pass Mountain Resort. From 2013 to 2014, they were a Security Analyst/Consultant for Risk Based Security. From 2014 to 2018, they were a Senior DevOps Engineer for Zillow Group. From 2018 to 2019, they were a Senior Cloud Engineer for Kong Inc., where they authored and maintained the Kong Terraform module for AWS. From 2020 to 2021, they were a Staff Kubernetes Engineer for Packet, an Equinix Company. Most recently, they have been a Site Reliability Engineer for Hopper since 2021, and they are currently a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer for PlanetScale.

Dennis Kelly obtained a B.S. in Computer Science and a B.A. in Telecommunications from Michigan State University between 1994 and 2003. Dennis also holds certifications from Lynda.com, Amazon Web Services, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, which they obtained in 2018, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, which they obtained in 2017.
