Patrick Reynolds

Patrick Reynolds has worked in the software engineering industry since 2006. Patrick began their career as a Postdoc at Cornell University, where they worked on the Nexus project. In 2008, they joined BlueStripe Software as a Software Architect, where they worked primarily on the FactFinder Collectors. In 2013, they moved to GitHub as a Distinguished Engineer. In 2020, Patrick joined PlanetScale as a Software Engineer and is currently employed there. Additionally, they have maintained the Oracle of Bacon website since 1999, where they wrote all the code and answers all the emails the Oracle receives.

Patrick Reynolds attended Duke University from 1999 to 2006, where they earned a PhD in Computer Science. Prior to that, they attended the University of Virginia from 1996 to 1999 and obtained a B.S. in Computer Science.
