Rafer Hazen

Rafer Hazen has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Rafer is currently working as a Software Engineer at PlanetScale since January 2022. Previously, Rafer worked at GitHub, where they held the position of Staff Engineering Manager from February 2017 to September 2021. Before that, they were a Software Engineer at GitHub from November 2015 to February 2017. Rafer also worked at Collective Intellect/Oracle as a Principle Software Engineer from February 2012 to October 2015. Rafer started their career at Foraker Labs as a Software Engineer from January 2010 to February 2012.

Rafer Hazen attended the University of Colorado Boulder from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
