Tal Niv

Tal Niv is currently the VP People and General Counsel at PlanetScale. Prior to this, Tal held various leadership positions at companies such as GitHub, Creative Commons, and Hotbar.com. Tal also has experience in academia, serving as an adjunct professor at University of California, College of the Law, Santa Clara University School of Law, and Tel Aviv University. With a background in law, technology, and economics, Tal has a diverse skill set that has been cultivated through previous roles as a system analyst in various organizations including Unit 8200 - Israeli Intelligence Corps. Tal is also an accomplished academic, having pursued PhD studies at University of California, Berkeley and earning degrees from The Wharton School and Tel Aviv University.
