Joel Rocha

Joel Rocha has been working in the software engineering field since 2008. Joel started their career as an Internship at Lambda. In 2009, they were a Java Developer at Ebix, where they were responsible for implementing web solutions for leading insurance companies in Brazil. From 2012 to 2016, Joel worked as a Technical Analyst at CPQi Offshore Solutions, where they added value to internal management and the company's/Investment Bank business. In 2019, Joel was a Front-End Lead Developer at Grupo Casa Magalhães, where they were responsible for starting from scratch a Vue.js application to replace the front of a key product. Joel then worked as a Software Engineer at Virtualmind and Instituto Atlântico in 2020. Currently, Joel is a Software Engineer at Planhat.

Joel Rocha has a varied educational background. Joel completed a degree in Engenharia da Computação from the Instituto Federal do Ceará from 2008 to 2014. Joel also obtained several certifications, including the Java Standard Edition 6 Programmer certification from Oracle in March 2016, and the Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 6 Programmer certification from Oracle in March 2016. Additionally, they obtained a CPA-20 certification from ANBIMA in July 2014. Most recently, they completed a Full Stack Web Developer program from freeCodeCamp in 2018.
