Nick Bleil

Nick Bleil has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Nick currently serves as an Art Director at Planit, starting in 2023. Prior to this, from 2022 to 2022, Nick operated their own company, Nick Bleil Productions, LLC, where they worked as a Retouching and Production Artist, specializing in key visual retouching and compositing, as well as pre-press production and release for print, digital, and web projects. Notable clients during this time included Fidelity Investments.

Before their venture, Nick worked at Art Machine as a Production Manager from 2021 to 2021. In this role, they oversaw revision rounds, managed mechanical production builds, and handled retouching tasks, while ensuring timely completion of projects across offices in LA and London.

From 2019 to 2021, Nick was a Production Manager at Planit, where they led image production efforts, including retouching, compositing, color correcting, mechanical builds, and asset versioning for both digital and print projects. Notably, they worked on the launch assets for Curio Wellness' Goodnight Cannabis Sleep Aid product.

Nick also has a history with MullenLowe U.S., where they held multiple roles. From 2015 to 2019, they served as a Digital Imaging Supervisor, collaborating with creative teams to perform high-end retouching and compositing tasks for print and digital ad campaigns. Additionally, they managed projects for the Digital Imaging team, assisted with low-res storyboard composites, and created key visuals for new business pitches. Prior to this, from 2013 to 2015, Nick worked as a Social Content Artist, producing real-time and pre-planned social media artwork for various clients, including California Avocados, E*Trade, and Mass Mutual. In earlier positions at MullenLowe U.S., Nick was a Studio Artist, responsible for creating storyboard composites and key visuals, and a Jr. Production Artist, tasked with optimizing design layouts and supporting print and web production tasks.

Before their time at MullenLowe U.S., Nick gained experience as an Apparel Account Manager at Converse from 2010 to 2012, overseeing accounts related to apparel. Nick also served as an Events Coordinator at The Village Smokehouse from 2010 to 2011 and worked as a Repro Graphics Designer at Interprint in 2008.

Nick Bleil attended the University of Massachusetts Lowell from 2006 to 2010, where they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design. During their time at the university, their primary area of focus was Graphic Design.
