Each hut that rolls out the doors of our Dorset workshop is imbued with the hand-crafted magic of the Arts & Crafts tradition, the very essence of John Ruskin’s famous quote: ‘When love and skill work together, expect a masterpiece’. 

Quite simply, we make huts that are as beautiful as they are useful – a clever extra space that works equally well as a guest bedroom, garden room, home office, studio, holiday let or full living accommodation. With the added bonus that you can take it with you when you move.

Plankbridge is made up of a skilled and enthusiastic team of around 40 hutmakers, CAD designers, joiners, furniture makers, paint finishers and office team.  The furniture makers all have experience making high-end designs for discerning worldwide customers
