Jay R.

Jay R. has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations and roles. Their most recent position is as a Data Programs Manager at Planned Parenthood Federation of America, starting in December 2022.

Prior to this, Jay worked at America Votes as a North Carolina Program & Data Manager from June 2022 to December 2022, and as a Data Fellow from January 2022 to June 2022. They also held positions at North Carolina Asian Americans Together as an Outreach Coordinator from November 2020 to October 2021, and as a Voter Outreach Lead from August 2020 to November 2020.

Before that, Jay worked at NextGen America as an Organizer from January 2020 to April 2020. In this role, they recruited and trained a local volunteer team, developed a NextGen presence on multiple campuses, and collaborated with student leaders to cohost campus events.

Jay also has experience from The World Food Prize Foundation as a World Arts Fellow from June 2019 to August 2019, Chapel Hill Downtown Partnership as an ArtWalk Outreach Intern from January 2019 to May 2019, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as a BeAM (Be A Maker) Program Assistant (Applied Physical Sciences) from August 2018 to May 2019, and as an Administrative Assistant at the Department of Women's and Gender Studies from August 2016 to May 2017.
