Omar Selim

Omar Selim serves as an Assistant Lecturer in the Sustainable Architecture Program at Mansoura University since July 2023 and holds the position of BIM Manager at CICO Consulting Engineers since April 2022. With extensive expertise in BIM management, Omar specializes in software selection, implementation, and coordination, alongside developing and enforcing BIM standards. Additional roles include being a Bricks ambassador, OSM Tasking Manager for the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team, and Co-Founder of st-solutions.net. Omar has also contributed to BIMarabia as Director of both the magazine and blog, focusing on promoting BIM awareness in the Arabic-speaking community. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Global BIM Management for Infrastructure Projects from Universitat de Barcelona and ZIGURAT Institute of Technology. Furthermore, Omar has developed significant IT skills in various BIM software and project management tools.
