Peter Carrato

Peter Carrato is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in Civil and Structural Engineering, Building Information Modeling (BIM), and Virtual Design and Construction (VDC). Currently serving as a team player at LOD Planner since February 2017 and as a Consulting Engineer at Pete Carrato, Consulting Engineer since the same year, Peter brings a wealth of expertise to both roles. Additionally, Peter holds the title of Bechtel Fellow Emeritus with Bechtel Corporation since 1976, further underscoring a long-standing commitment to the field. A former Senior Advisor at Ellis Global LLC, from May 2017 to January 2018, Peter provided guidance on technological advancements in engineering and construction. Peter's academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Civil Engineering from Duke University and multiple degrees in Civil Engineering from Bucknell University.
