Dan Motta

Dan Motta is a seasoned planner currently serving as Planner II at PlanRVA since June 2019, with a focus on short and long-range planning, including the Long Range Transportation Plan, ConnectRVA 2045, and regional bicycle and pedestrian planning through the active transportation plan, BikePedRVA 2045. Prior to this role, Dan Motta worked as a copywriter at MOTTAFY LLC, where clear and concise copy was developed to support the growth of a major advertising agency. Additional experience includes roles in marketing coordination at Cobb Technologies, logistics coordination at Ocean Network Express, and various positions in production, marketing, and administrative assistance across several companies. Dan Motta holds a Master's degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning and a Graduate Certificate in Urban Revitalization from Virginia Commonwealth University, along with a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Central Florida.
