Jack Bertman

Jack Bertman is a Research Consultant at Plant Docs since October 2023. Previously, Jack served as a Clinical Research Coordinator II at Massachusetts General Hospital from July 2022 to September 2023, focusing on patient recruitment, consent, regulatory documentation, and clinical tasks in the Gastroenterology Unit. Jack was an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Vassar College from August 2018 to May 2022, assisting in synthesizing a marine natural product. Additionally, Jack worked as a Health Educator at Button Hole Golf Course and Teaching Center, where a health and wellness program for local children was designed and implemented. Jack's research experience also includes a summer internship at Lifespan in Dr. Jonathan Kurtis’ laboratory. Jack holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from Vassar College, with prior education at Brown University and Moses Brown School.
