David S. has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. David began their career as a Forestry Consultant at Oceanside Forest Consulting in 2007, where they worked until 2010. Following this, they joined Coastal Carbon Solutions as a Project Analyst from 2008 to 2010. In 2011, David worked as a Junior Software Engineer at Tasktop for a few months before returning to the same position in 2012 for a short period. From 2013 to 2016, they transitioned into different roles at Tasktop, starting as a Software Engineer and eventually becoming an Engineering Manager - Cloud. David focused on standardizing development processes, building delivery pipelines, and managing infrastructure. In 2020, they took on the role of Product Value Stream Lead - Cloud at Tasktop, and in 2022, they became the Director Software Engineering - Cloud Ops. Presently, they are working as the Director DevOps at Planview, Inc.
David S. obtained a Bachelor of Forest Resource Management degree from The University of British Columbia, where they studied from 2002 to 2007. David later pursued a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from the same university, studying from 2010 to 2013.
