Philip Betts

Philip Betts has over 20 years of work experience in various roles related to software development and engineering. Philip is currently serving as the Vice President of Product Development at Planview, Inc. Since 2018, Philip has held leadership positions at Accruent, including Vice President of Engineering and Senior Director of Engineering. Prior to that, they were the Sr. Manager of Application Development and Delivery at Oasis Outsourcing, where they successfully led the transition from Waterfall to Agile portfolio management. Philip also has experience as the Chief Technology Officer at Invenstar LLC, where they oversaw the creation of new Point of Sale (POS) products and led engineering and technical support teams. Philip has held senior software developer roles at WebMD, Alabama Power Company, U.S. Pipe and Foundry, Bankrate, Inc., and BISYS Fund Services. Throughout their career, Philip has demonstrated expertise in various technologies such as Java, Angular/Rest, SAP, ABAP, Visual Basic, SQL Server, Fortran, ASP, ASP.NET, SOAP, and C#.

Philip Betts has a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Information Technology - Security from Western Governors University. Philip is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the same institution. Philip also holds certifications such as the Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA) and the Certified Linux Administrator (LPIC-1). Philip has additional certifications in Cisco networking, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Project+, and CompTIA Security+.
