David Trang

David Trang is an accomplished design professional with extensive experience in leading design efforts across various organizations. Currently serving as Principal Designer at PlanYear since July 2022, David previously held the role of Design Manager at Lumity, Inc. from June 2017 to June 2022. Prior to that, David was a Senior Product Designer at Motif Investing, where notable products like the Motif Impact 401(k) Robo-Advisor were launched across multiple platforms. David also operated as Owner/Design Consultant at Indextwo, providing design consultancy to major clients, and was a Web Producer at lia sophia, focusing on site architecture and user experience. Earlier career experience includes working as an IT Officer/Frontend Developer at The PrivateBank, where David developed the company’s inaugural Intranet portal. David holds a B.S. in Management Information Systems and Services from DePaul University.
